Turn WebP images into a PDF

or drop them here
Choose at least one JPG or PNG image first.

Turn WebP images saved from the web into one PDF that opens anywhere, without uploading them. The browser decodes each file and its pixels land on the page lossless, transparency included. The finished file is reopened and measured before the download appears.

Web saves in, one PDF out

  1. Choose the WebP files

Press Choose images, or drag .webp files onto the page. The browser decodes each one in this tab, thumbnails gather under Image order, and nothing is uploaded.

  2. Order the pages

Move files up or down with the arrow buttons. Each WebP becomes one page in the numbered order on screen.

  3. Pick size and margins

Match image wraps each page around its own graphic; A4 and US Letter frame every graphic on standard paper, turning wide ones sideways. Add None, Narrow, or Standard margins.

  4. Create and download

Press Create PDF. The file is reopened, pages counted and measured, decoded dimensions confirmed. Download PDF appears named after the first file with -webp added, for example jar-amber-webp.pdf.

From delivery format to document pages

WebP is built for fast websites, not for inboxes: many mail clients, viewers, and office PCs still stare at it blankly. This page lets the browser decode each file and stores the decoded pixels as a lossless PNG image in the PDF, keeping width, height, and transparency. The WebP compression itself has no room in a PDF, so it stays behind.

That rewrite has two side effects to know. The PDF usually outweighs the WebP files, because lossless PNG data costs more bytes than a delivery codec. And an animated WebP contributes only its opening frame: a PDF page cannot play.

Before Download PDF appears, the reopen check confirms the page count, every page size, and each image's decoded dimensions. If the file must travel light afterwards, Size breakdown finds the heavy pages and Compress PDF lightens them.

A product sheet from supplier pictures

You sell poured candles through a marketplace, and a gift shop asks for a one-page-per-scent overview it can print. The supplier's folder holds WebP only: jar-amber.webp, label-closeup.webp, gift-box.webp. The shop owner's old PC opens none of them, and three attachments are not an overview anyway.

Drop the three files here, order them jar, label, box with the arrow buttons, and choose A4 with Narrow margins, since this sheet ends on paper. Press Create PDF and jar-amber-webp.pdf is ready: three pages in sales order, decoded pixels and soft label shadows intact.

Mail that file and the shop prints it as is. To add prices under each picture afterwards, open the result in Edit PDF; to file the sheet inside a bigger catalogue, join it with Merge PDF.

WebP snags and quick fixes

When a different route fits better

When the files are already PNG, skip this page: PNG to PDF embeds them with no decoding round trip at all.

When the pictures must stay tiny for web use, keep the WebP files. This conversion trades compactness for compatibility, which is the wrong trade for a website.

Questions about WebP pictures in a PDF

Does the PDF animate?
No. The opening frame of an animated WebP becomes a still page. Everything else about the animation stays in the original file.
Why is the PDF larger than the WebP files?
WebP is a compact delivery codec; the PDF holds lossless PNG data instead. Same pictures, roomier wrapping.
Can I mix WebP with JPG in one run?
No, this page reads WebP only. Convert each format on its own page and join the results with Merge PDF.
What if my browser cannot open the WebP?
Then this page cannot either: decoding uses the same browser engine. Update the browser or re-export the picture, then retry.
Do transparent backgrounds survive?
Yes, the transparency channel is stored in the PDF. Viewers show the white page beneath it, which is normal.
